Ingredients

3 eggs
1/2 c. sugar plus 1 Tbsp.
1/4 c. lemon juice
1 c. whipping cream
grated rind of 1 lemon
2 doz. vanilla wafers, rolled into fine crumbs
Preparation

Beat together until lemon colored the yolks of eggs, 1/2 cup sugar, lemon juice and grated rind.
Cook in double boiler until thick.
Let cool.
Add egg whites beaten stiff into which is stirred 1 tablespoon sugar.
Add whipped cream.
