Strawberry Pie - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    9-inch baked pie shell
    1/2 to 3/4 c. sugar
    3 oz. pkg. strawberry jello
    2 Tbsp. cornstarch
    1 qt. hulled, washed strawberries
Preparation
    Mix sugar, cornstarch and water.
    Cook until clear, stirring constantly.
    Dissolve jello in liquid.
    Let sit until thick but do not refrigerate.
    Put berries in pie shell.
    Let sit 4 to 6 hours. Serve with whipped cream.
