Basic Meat Loaf - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 1/2 lb. lean ground beef
    1/2 c. milk
    2 eggs, beaten
    1/4 tsp. pepper
    1 c. soft bread crumbs
    1 medium onion, chopped
    1 tsp. salt
    1 (8 oz.) can tomato sauce
Preparation
    In large bowl, combine all ingredients, except tomato sauce, until well mixed.
    Put mixture in loaf pan.
    Cover with waxed paper and cook at High 15 to 16 minutes.
    Let stand 5 minutes, covered.
    Drain off all juice.
    Put meat loaf on serving plate and cover with tomato sauce.
    Serves 6.
