Deep Dish Pizza - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 lb. loaf frozen bread dough, thawed
    4 c. shredded Mozzarella cheese, divided
    1 1/2 lb. lean pork sausage
    1 1/2 tsp. each dried oregano and fennel seed, crushed
    3 cans (14 1/2 oz.) plum tomatoes, chopped and drained
    1/2 c. fresh sliced mushrooms
Preparation
    Grease a 14 x 2-inch pizza pan.
    On a flour-dusted surface, roll dough to 16 inch circle.
    Press into bottom and 1 1/2 inches up sides of pan.
    Sprinkle with 3 cups of cheese.
    Crumble sausage over cheese.
    Top with oregano, fennel seed, tomatoes, mushrooms and remaining cheese.
    Place in a 500\u00b0 oven; immediately reduce heat to 400\u00b0.
    Bake 40 to 50 minutes.
    Remove pizza when golden brown.
