Hickory Nut Pie - cooking recipe
Ingredients

3 eggs, slightly beaten
1 c. white Karo
3/4 c. sugar
1 tsp. vanilla
2 Tbsp. margarine
1 c. hickory nuts, chopped
1 unbaked pie shell
Preparation

Mix eggs, syrup, sugar, vanilla and meringue, adding the nuts last.
Pour into pie shell and bake at 400\u00b0 for 10 minutes. Reduce heat to 350\u00b0 and bake 40 minutes longer.
