Bagels - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 Tbsp. yeast
    3 to 3 1/4 c. whole wheat flour
    1 1/4 c. hot water
    3 Tbsp. honey
    2 tsp. salt
    1 c. date pieces
    1 gal. water
    1 Tbsp. honey
Preparation
    Bring honey and water to a boil.
    Reduce to simmer.
    Drop in bagels 4 at a time for 7 minutes, turning once.
    Drain.
    Place on ungreased cookie sheet.
    Bake at 350\u00b0 for 30 minutes.
