Beef Stroganoff Supreme - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 lb. trimmed beef tenderloin, sliced 1/4-inch thick
    6 oz. mushrooms, sliced or 2 c.
    1/4 c. butter or margarine
    1/2 c. chopped onion
    1 can condensed beef broth or stock
    2 c. dairy sour cream
    4 Tbsp. enriched flour
Preparation
    Cut meat in strips, 1/4-inch wide.
    Brown quickly in 1/4 cup butter.
    Push meat to one side.
    Add mushrooms and onion.
    Cook just until tender.
    Add broth.
    Heat just to boiling.
    Blend sour cream and flour.
    Stir into broth.
    Cook and stir until mixture thickens.
    Season to taste.
    Serve over hot Baptist Rice.
    Serves 4 or 5. A good party dish!
