Basil Scalloped Potatoes - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1/4 c. butter
1 tsp. salt
1/8 tsp. pepper
1/2 c. snipped parsley
1/2 c. soft bread crumbs
1 Tbsp. butter, melted
1 Tbsp. flour
1 tsp. dried basil, crushed
2 c. milk
6 to 8 medium potatoes, peeled and thinly sliced (6 c.)
1/4 c. snipped parsley (optional)
Preparation

To Make Sauce:
In small saucepan, melt the butter.
Stir in flour, salt, basil and pepper.
Stir in milk all at once.
Cook and stir over medium heat until mixture is thickened and bubbly.
Cook and stir 1 minute more.
Stir in the 1/2 cup parsley.
