Lime Pickles - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    7 lb. cucumbers
    2 c. lime
    2 gal. water
    1 1/2 qt. vinegar
    4 lb. sugar
    3 tsp. salt
    1/2 box pickling spice, tied in a cloth
Preparation
    Mix; pour over drained cucumbers.
    Cook slowly for 2 hours and can them.
    The pickles should look clear when done.
    (Do not boil hard.)
