Aunt Alice'S Oven Caramel Corn - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    8 or 9 qt. popped corn
    1 tsp. salt
    1/2 c. white syrup
    2 c. brown sugar
    1 c. oleo
    1 tsp. burnt sugar flavoring
Preparation
    Boil all ingredients (except corn) for 5 minutes, mixing well and stirring often.
    Remove from heat and add 1/2 teaspoon baking soda.
    Mix well; pour over popped corn and mix well.
    Put into several large baking pans and place in 225\u00b0 oven for 1 hour, stirring 2 or 3 times.
    Place on wax paper to cool.
    Break apart into large pieces; store in tightly closed container.
