Pumpkin Pie - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 c. cooked or canned pumpkin
    1 1/2 c. evaporated milk or cream
    1/4 c. brown sugar
    1/2 c. white sugar
    1/2 tsp. salt
    1 tsp. cinnamon
    1/2 tsp. ginger
    1/4 tsp. nutmeg or allspice
    1/8 tsp. cloves
    2 slightly beaten eggs
Preparation
    Line a 9-inch pie pan with dough.
    Mix until well blended all ingredients.
    Pour into pie shell.
    Bake 15 minutes at 425\u00b0. Reduce heat to 350\u00b0 and bake about 45 minutes longer, until an inserted knife comes out clean.
    I make a strip of aluminum foil to cover the edge of pie crust.
    It keeps it from getting too brown. Beat a half pint of whipping cream with 1/4 cup of sugar in a glass bowl until stiff for topping.
