Pork Chops Braised With Prunes - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    6 shoulder, rib or loin pork chops
    salt and pepper
    2 to 3 medium onions sliced
    about 12 dried prunes
    1/2 c. water
    2 tsp. brown sugar
    2 tsp. cider vinegar
    dash or 2 of red hot sauce
Preparation
    Buy pork chops.
    Slowly brown chops on both sides in a preheated skillet for 10 to 12 minutes.
    Sprinkle with salt and pepper.
    Add sliced onions, prunes, water, brown sugar, cider vinegar and red hot sauce.
    Cover and cook over low heat about 1 hour or until tender.
    Serve on warm platter.
