Marissa'S Favorite Cabbage Soup - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 lb. ground turkey meat or beef
2 celery stalks, chopped
1 (16 oz.) can red kidney beans (undrained)
1/2 medium cabbage, chopped
1 (28 oz.) can whole tomatoes
1 (28 oz.) can water
4 chicken bouillon cubes
1/2 tsp. garlic salt
1/4 tsp. garlic powder
salt and pepper to taste
fresh parsley (optional)
Preparation

Brown turkey or beef in large pot.
Add all ingredients except parsley; when adding whole tomatoes, break them up with a big spoon.
Do not puree.
Bring to a boil; reduce to a simmer, covered, for 1 hour.
Serve with fresh bread.
