Spinach Scalloped Franks - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1/2 c. chopped onion
    6 Tbsp. butter
    1/4 c. flour
    1 1/2 c. milk
    1 lb. hot dogs, cut in 1/2-inch pieces
    2 c. shredded cheese
    1 (10 oz.) pkg. chopped spinach, thawed
    5 c. pared, sliced, cooked potatoes
Preparation
    Cook onion in butter until tender.
    Stir in flour; add milk. Cook, stirring constantly until mixture thickens.
    Add 1 1/2 cups cheese, stirring until melted.
    Arrange half the potatoes evenly in a baking dish.
    Top with half of franks and half of spinach and sauce.
    Repeat.
    Cover and bake at 350\u00b0 for 45 to 50 minutes.
    Top with remaining cheese and bake uncovered until cheese melts. Makes 6 servings.
