Blackberry Jam Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 1/2 c. sugar
    3 eggs
    1 c. cooking oil
    1 c. buttermilk
    1 tsp. soda
    2 c. flour, sifted
    1 tsp. allspice
    1 tsp. cinnamon
    1 tsp. nutmeg
    1 tsp. baking powder
    1 c. blackberry jam
    1/2 tsp. salt
Preparation
    Cream the sugar, eggs and salt.
    Add remaining ingredients to creamed mixture.
    Bake in layers at 350\u00b0.
    When springs from touch, cake is done.
