Pinto Bean Casserole - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 (16 oz.) can pinto beans
1 lb. lean hamburger
1 large onion, chopped
1 green pepper, chopped
1 c. cheddar cheese, grated
1 c. Monterey Jack cheese, grated
1 (16 oz.) jar salsa
1 box Jiffy cornbread mix
green jalapeno pepper, chopped (optional)
Preparation

In large skillet, brown hamburger with chopped onion and pepper.
Salt and pepper to taste.
Layer into a 9 x 13 inch casserole dish--pinto beans, hamburger mixture, salsa, and jalapeno pepper.
Mix cheeses and layer on top.
Mix cornbread mix according to package directions.
Layer on top of cheese.
Bake at 350\u00b0 for 45 minutes.
