Squash Patties - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    4 or 5 medium size squash
    salt
    pepper
    onion, chopped
    1 egg
    pinch of baking soda
    flour
Preparation
    Cut up squash and boil in water until tender.
    Take up and drain all the liquid out.
    Salt and pepper to taste.
    Cut up a small onion in the squash.
    Add egg, pinch of baking soda and enough flour to stick all together.
