Chili - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 to 1 1/2 lb. ground beef
    1 medium onion, chopped
    1 (28 oz.) can tomatoes (undrained)
    1 (8 oz.) can tomato sauce
    1 tsp. salt
    2 to 3 Tbsp. chili powder or season to taste
    1 (22 oz.) can Brooks chili beans or other brand
Preparation
    In a large pan, brown ground beef with onion and chili powder, until the onion is translucent.
    Drain off grease.
    Add remaining ingredients and mix.
    Cover and bring to a low boil.
    Reduce heat; let simmer for 40 minutes, stirring occasionally to prevent sticking or burning.
