Vanilla Rolled Cookies - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. butter
    1 1/2 c. sugar
    2 eggs
    1 1/2 tsp. vanilla
    3 1/2 c. flour
    1 tsp. baking powder
    1/2 tsp. salt
Preparation
    Beat butter, eggs and sugar until well blended.
    Add vanilla and stir.
    Combine dry ingredients and add to first mixture.
    Stir until well blended.
    Place bowl in refrigerator for 1 hour. Remove and divide dough in 2 parts and roll each into a 1 1/2-inch diameter roll. Wrap in waxed paper and put in refrigerator.
    When ready, slice and bake in 350\u00b0 oven on cookie sheet.
    You may decorate in any manner.
