Mexican Artichokes - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    4 artichokes (adjust recipe for servings needed)
    1 lb. hamburger
    1 yellow onion, minced
    1 (8 oz.) can tomato sauce
    1 Tbsp. hot chili sauce
    cilantro, chopped (Chinese parsley)
    2 c. rice (cook so you have 4 c. cooked rice)
Preparation
    Artichokes:
    Cut off stems at bottom of artichoke, then cut off top stems.
    Use
    scissors
    to
    cut off sharp points of remaining
    leaves.\t (I

    tough,
    bottom
    row). Submerge artichokes in
    water in a large saucepan and boil for 40 minutes.
    (You
    can
    also microwave them, check your oven's cookbook.) They are done when a leaf can be pulled off easily. Drain upside down and cool.
