Crusty Cornbread - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. cornmeal
    1/2 c. flour
    1 Tbsp. sugar
    1 Tbsp. baking powder
    1/2 tsp. salt
    1/2 tsp. soda
    1 egg
    1 c. buttermilk
    1/4 c. bacon drippings
Preparation
    Combine all ingredients in order given.
    Heat 9-inch cast-iron pan (if available) with oil for 5 minutes.
    Drain off oil and pour in cornbread mixture.
    Bake until golden brown, 20 to 25 minutes at 425\u00b0.
