Chicken Ala King - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    3 green peppers
    2 packs mushrooms
    1 c. butter
    1 lb. flour
    2 1/2 qt. chicken broth, cold
    2 1/2 qt. milk, hot
    salt and pepper
    4 to 6 lb. diced, cooked chicken
    2 oz. chopped pimento
Preparation
    Saute green pepper and mushrooms in butter until tender.
    Make a paste of flour and cold chicken broth.
    Add this to green pepper and mushroom mixture.
    Blend.
    Add hot milk until thickened and smooth.
    Add remaining ingredients.
    Heat in make-shift double boiler.
    Serve on toast.
