Potato Pancakes - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    4 raw potatoes
    1 tsp. salt
    1 Tbsp. grated onion
    2 eggs, well beaten
    2 Tbsp. flour
    1/4 c. shortening
Preparation
    Wash and pare potatoes, then grate and mix with salt and onion.
    Stir in eggs and add flour.
    Have the shortening sizzling hot in frying pan.
    Drop a spoonful of batter into pan.
    Brown on one side, then turn and brown on the other side.
