Great Chocolate Candy - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    3 c. sugar
    3 Tbsp. cocoa
    2 Tbsp. white corn syrup
    1 c. sweet milk
    1 Tbsp. vinegar
    1/4 tsp. salt
    1 tsp. vanilla
    1 stick butter
Preparation
    Mix all and bring to a boil.
    When it begins to boil, add 1 tablespoon vinegar.
    When mixture forms a soft ball in cold water, remove from stove and place under electric mixer.
    When this begins to thicken, add salt, vanilla and butter.
    Continue to beat at high speed until mixture is very thick.
    Remove and stir in two cups of nuts and press on marble slab.
    Be sure the content will stand alone before you pour out of boiler.
    Cut in squares.
