Turtle Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 German chocolate cake mix (with pudding in mix)
    1 bag Kraft caramels
    1 stick butter
    1 can Eagle Brand milk
    6 oz. chocolate chips
    1 c. chopped pecans
Preparation
    Mix cake mix according to the directions on the box.
    Put half of cake mix in 9 x 13-inch pan and bake for 15 minutes at 350\u00b0. Cool for 10 minutes.
    Unwrap caramels and melt with butter and Eagle Brand milk, then cool.
    Pour this over baked layers.
    This will be stiff so do not pour in one spot.
    Add last half of mix. Top with chocolate chips and chopped pecans.
    Return to oven and bake 20 to 25 minutes.
    Cool and serve in pan.
