Homemade Biscuits - cooking recipe
Ingredients

2 c. all-purpose flour
1 Tbsp. baking powder
1/2 tsp. salt
1/4 c. butter or margarine
3 Tbsp. shortening
about 3/4 c. milk
dash of sugar (granulated)
Preparation

Preheat oven to 450\u00b0.
Grease baking pan.
Sift flour, baking powder and salt into medium-size bowl.
Cut in butter and shortening.
Stir in enough milk to make soft dough.
Turn onto lightly floured surface.
Knead lightly.
Pat out 1/2-inch thick. Cut with 2-inch cutter.
Bake 8 to 10 minutes.
