French Market Soup - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 lb. bag 15 bean mix (throw away ham flavoring packet)
    2 qt. water
    1 (16 oz.) can stewed tomatoes
    1 large yellow onion, chopped
    1 garlic clove, minced
    1 (4 oz.) can chopped green chiles
    1/4 c. lemon juice
Preparation
    Wash beans; place in large pot.
    Add water to cover 2 inches above beans.
    Soak overnight.
    Drain.
    Add 2 quarts water and remaining ingredients, breaking tomatoes up with a fork.
    Bring to a boil; reduce the heat.
    Cover; simmer 2 to 4 hours, depending on how \"mushy\" you like beans.
    Makes 6 to 8 servings.
