Potato And Cabbage Soup - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 large onion, chopped
2 Tbsp. butter
10 c. water
6 c. cabbage, chopped
4 c. potatoes, peeled and diced
3 chicken bouillon cubes
1/2 tsp. pepper
1/2 tsp. garlic, dried (if desired)
4 c. cooked ham, cubed
Preparation

In a large soup kettle, saute onion in butter until tender. Add water, cabbage, potatoes, bouillon cubes, pepper and garlic. Cover and simmer for 20 to 25 minutes.
Stir in ham.
Makes 12 to 14 servings.
