Stuffed Peppers - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    4 green peppers
    1 lb. ground beef
    2 c. cooked rice (about 2/3 c. uncooked)
    1/4 c. chopped onions
    1 1/2 tsp. salt
    1/8 tsp. pepper
    3 (8 oz.) cans Hunt's tomato sauce
Preparation
    Cut peppers in half lengthwise.
    Remove seeds and wash. Combine beef, cooked rice, onions, salt, pepper and 1/2 cup tomato sauce.
    Pile lightly into pepper halves and place into baking dish.
    Pour tomato sauce on top of each pepper.
    Cover tightly and bake at 350\u00b0 for
    1 1/2 hours, basting occasionally.
