Holiday Peas - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 (4 oz.) can mushrooms, stems and pieces
    1 (10 oz.) pkg. frozen green peas
    1 small onion, chopped
    1/2 c. chopped celery
    3 Tbsp. butter
    2 oz. jar pimientos, drained and chopped
    1/2 tsp. salt
    1/8 tsp. pepper
Preparation
    Drain mushrooms, reserving liquid.
    Cook peas according to package directions substituting reserved liquid for equal amount of water; drain.
    Cook onion and celery in butter in saucepan until soft.
    Add mushrooms and pimientos; heat thoroughly.
    Add peas and seasonings; heat through.
