Clam Fritters - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 pt. clams, drain and chop
    2 eggs, beaten
    1/2 c. milk
    1 1/2 c. flour, sifted
    2 tsp. baking powder
    salt and pepper
Preparation
    Mix all ingredients together.
    Drop by spoonfuls into deep hot fat and fry.
    When browned, remove and drain.
    Serve hot.
    Great with clam chowder.
