Squaw Corn - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    3 slices bacon
    8 ears corn, freshly cut
    1/2 tsp. salt
    1 green pepper, chopped
    2 tsp. sugar
    1 c. water
Preparation
    Cut bacon into small pieces and fry.
    Add corn and salt. Saute until corn is brown.
    Add green pepper, sugar and water. Simmer until tender.
    Makes 6 servings.
