Turtle Cake - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 box German chocolate cake mix
12 oz. caramels, unwrapped
1 can condensed milk
1/2 c. butter
1 c. chocolate chips
1 c. nut meats
Preparation

Prepare cake mix as per directions on box.
Pour 1/2 of batter in a greased 9 x 13-inch pan.
Bake at 350\u00b0 for 15 minutes.
Melt caramels and butter together in double boiler.
Blend in condensed milk.
Remove cake from oven and pour caramel mix over cake. Sprinkle with chocolate chips and nut meats.
Pour rest of cake batter over all.
Bake for 30 minutes or until cake is done.
Cut when cool.
