Popcorn Balls - cooking recipe
Ingredients

2 c. sugar
1/2 tsp. salt
3 qt. popped popcorn (kept warm in oven)
1 tsp. vanilla
1 1/2 c. water
1/2 c. white corn syrup
1 tsp. vinegar
Preparation

Cook sugar, salt, syrup and water until it forms a hard ball in cold water.
Add vinegar and vanilla.
Cook until it reaches crackling stage.
Pour over warm popcorn and form into balls. Place butter on hands to keep from burning hands.
