Marinated Eggs - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    12 to 18 eggs
    2 c. white vinegar
    2 Tbsp. sugar
    1 tsp. salt
    1 tsp. pickling spice
    1 medium onion, sliced
Preparation
    Place eggs in water.
    Boil to hard-cooked.
    Peel shell.
    Pack in hot sterilized jars.
    In saucepan, bring to boil vinegar, sugar, salt, spice and onion.
    Simmer for 10 minutes.
    Strain and pour over eggs.
    Cover and let stand 1 to 2 days to marinate.
