Pepper Relish - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    12 red peppers
    12 green peppers
    12 large onions
    2 c. white vinegar
    2 c. white sugar
    2 Tbsp. salt
Preparation
    Chop (not grind) peppers and onions.
    Cover with boiling water and let stand for 5 minutes; drain.
    Add sugar, vinegar and salt and bring to a boil.
    Cook 5 minutes.
    Pour into sterilized jars and seal.
    Yields 7 pints.
