Baked Apple Custard - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 (21 oz.) can apple pie filling
4 eggs
1/4 c. sugar
2 c. milk
nutmeg
1/4 tsp. salt
1 tsp. vanilla
Preparation

Spoon apple pie filling into bottom of 1 1/2 quart baking dish.
Beat eggs slightly.
Add sugar and salt.
Mix well.
Scald milk.
Add slowly stirring constantly.
Add vanilla.
Pour over pie filling.
Sprinkle with nutmeg.
Set in pan of cold water. Bake at 325\u00b0 for 1 hour and 15 minutes.
Chill.
Serve with any favorite sauce.
Makes 6 servings.
