Ingredients

1/2 c. white sugar
1/3 c. packed brown sugar
1/2 c. butter or margarine
1/2 c. peanut butter (soften)
1/2 tsp. vanilla
1 egg
1 c. plain flour
1/2 c. quick oats
1 tsp. soda
1/4 tsp. salt
1 (6 oz.) pkg. semi-sweet chocolate chips
1/2 c. chopped nuts
Preparation

Heat oven at 325\u00b0 to 350\u00b0.
Beat sugars, butter, peanut butter, vanilla and egg until creamy.
Mix in flour, oats, soda and salt. Stir in chocolate chips and nuts.
Drop by rounded tablespoon, about 2 inches apart, onto ungreased cookie sheet.
Bake 10 minutes.
Cool 1 minute before removing from cookie sheet.
Makes about 2 dozen cookies.
