Ranch Style Stew - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 lb. boneless stew beef
    4 Tbsp. butter
    3 c. hot water
    2 c. chopped onion
    2 c. sliced carrots
    6 white potatoes, cut in cubes
    1 tsp. salt
    1/2 tsp. pepper
    2 Tbsp. flour
Preparation
    Brown beef lightly in butter.
    Add hot water and cook 1 hour. Add potatoes, carrots, salt and pepper.
    Stir in flour.
    Add water to cover as needed.
    Cook about 20 minutes.
    Use large electric frypan or large frypan.
    After 20 minutes, add dumplings.
