Brown Sugar Candy - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1/2 lb. butter (not margarine)
    1 lb. powdered sugar
    vanilla
    1 lb. brown sugar
    1 small can Carnation or Pet milk
Preparation
    Butter a 9 x 13-inch pan.
    Cook butter, brown sugar and milk over medium fire for 7 minutes.
    Get your electric beater ready. Add the powdered sugar and vanilla; blend well.
    Pour into pan and cool for 1/2 hour before cutting.
