Caramel Corn - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    16 c. popped popcorn, lightly salted
    2 c. brown sugar
    2 sticks oleo
    1 tsp. baking soda
    1/2 c. dark corn syrup
    1/2 tsp. cream of tartar
Preparation
    Mix all ingredients well (except popcorn and baking soda). Dissolve over low heat.
    Boil 5 minutes on medium heat.
    Remove from heat and add baking soda.
    Pour over popcorn and mix well. Put in oven at 250\u00b0 for 30 minutes.
    Stif often.
    Pour onto cookie sheets and let cool.
    Store in airtight container.
