Pumpkin Bread - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2/3 c. shortening
    2 2/3 c. sugar
    4 eggs
    1 can (2 c. or 1 lb.) pumpkin
    2/3 c. water
    3 1/3 c. flour
    2 tsp. baking soda
    1 1/2 tsp. salt
    1/2 tsp. baking powder
    1 tsp. cinnamon
    1 tsp. cloves
    2/3 c. raisins and nuts
Preparation
    Cream shortening, sugar and eggs.
    Add pumpkin and water; mix well.
    Mix in flour, soda, salt, baking powder, cinnamon and cloves.
    Beat well; add raisins and nuts (optional).
    Bake at 350\u00b0 for 65 to 75 minutes.
    Makes 2 loaves or 3 (1 pound) coffee cans, floured and greased.
