Squash Casserole - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 lb. yellow squash
    2 Tbsp. butter
    1 c. Ritz cracker crumbs
    1 c. grated cheese
    1 c. milk
    2 eggs, beaten
    2 Tbsp. diced onions (optional)
    salt and pepper
Preparation
    Cut squash in slices, cook in salted water and drain thoroughly.
    Mash to a pulp.
    Add butter and stir.
    Add eggs, milk, crumbs and onion. Pour into grated 1 1/2-quart baking dish. Cover with grated cheese.
    Bake at 350\u00b0 for 25 to 30 minutes.
