Barbecued Onions - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. catsup
    3/4 c. water
    1/2 c. vinegar
    2 cloves garlic, minced
    1 Tbsp. Worcestershire sauce
    1 Tbsp. sugar
    1 tsp. salt
    1 tsp. celery seeds
    1/4 tsp. hot sauce
    3 c. sliced onions
Preparation
    Combine all ingredients except onions in a large saucepan. Bring to a boil, cover, reduce heat and simmer 4 to 5 minutes; stirring occasionally.
    Stir in onion, cover and simmer 3 minutes. Cover and chill.
    Serve with vegetables and barbecued meats.
