Candy Kiss Cookies - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1/2 c. shortening
    3/4 c. peanut butter
    1/3 c. sugar
    1/3 c. packed light brown sugar
    1 egg
    2 tbsp. milk
    1 tsp. vanilla extract
    1 1/2 c. all-purpose flour
    1 tsp. baking soda
    1/2 tsp. salt
    8 oz. bag of kisses
Preparation
    Heat oven to 375 degrees.
    Beat shortening and peanut butter in large bowl until well blended.
    Add sugars and beat until fluffy.
    Add milk, egg & vanilla.
    Beat well.
    Mix flour, baking soda and salt.
    Beat mixture gradually into peanut butter mixture. Roll mixture into 1 inch balls.
    Roll in granulated sugar.
    Place on ungreased cookie sheet.
    Bake 8-10 minutes or until lightly brown.
    Immediately press a kiss into center of each cookie.
    Cool on cookie sheet a few minutes before removing.
