Strawberry Freeze - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 pkg. Graham crackers, crushed
    4 eggs
    1 lb. (4 3/4 c.) powdered sugar
    1/2 c. butter or oleo
    2 tsp. vanilla
    1 c. chopped pecans
    2 c. whipping cream
    2 (10 oz.) pkgs frozen strawberries with liquid
Preparation
    Cover bottom of 13x9x2-inch pan or pyrex dish with graham cracker crumbs, reserving some for top.
    Combine beaten eggs, sugar and melted butter in a saucepan.
    Cook until thick and smooth. Cool; stir in vanilla.
    Pour over crumbs.
    Sprinkle with pecans, then spread on 1 c. whipped cream.
    Spoon strawberries over cream. Spread remaining cup of whipped cream over berries.
    Sprinkle crumbs on top.
    Cover and freeze.
    Set out 1 hour before serving.
