Layered Cauliflower Salad - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 medium head cauliflower
    1 medium head lettuce, torn into bite size pieces
    1 large purple onion, chopped
    1 c. mayonnaise
    3 Tbsp. sugar
    1/3 c. grated Parmesan cheese
    chopped lettuce
    chopped purple onion
Preparation
    Wash cauliflower.
    Cut flowerets into bite size pieces.
    Layer lettuce, onion, cauliflower and bacon in a 3-quart bowl. Combine mayonnaise and sugar.
    Mix well. Spread evenly over top, sealing to edge of bowl. Sprinkle with cheese, chopped lettuce and onion. Cover salad tightly and refrigerate 24 hours. Toss gently before serving.
    Yields 8 to 10 servings.
