Spaghetti A La Carbonara - cooking recipe
Ingredients

8 oz. thin spaghetti
6 slices bacon
2 Tbsp. butter or margarine
1 garlic clove
1/4 c. finely chopped onion
2 eggs, beaten
2 Tbsp. chopped parsley
2 Tbsp. grated Parmesan cheese
1/4 tsp. pepper
Preparation

Cook and drain spaghetti.
Meanwhile, dice and cook bacon until almost crisp.
Remove from pan and reserve.
Drain all but 2 tablespoons bacon drippings from skillet.
Add butter or margarine, garlic and onion to pan and cook over low heat until onion is soft but not brown.
Discard garlic clove.
Put hot spaghetti in large bowl.
Add eggs, parsley, cheese and pepper and stir until well mixed.
Add cooked onion with pan drippings and bacon pieces. Makes 4 servings.
