Sausage And Cabbage - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 1/2 lb. link sausage, cut into 1-inch diagonal slices
1 large head cabbage, cut into large chunks
water (as needed)
salt and pepper to taste
Preparation

Brown sausage in a jumbo (rectangular) electric skillet or Dutch oven.
Add 2 cups water.
Bring to a boil; cover and simmer 20 to 25 minutes.
Stir in cabbage pieces and add additional water as needed to keep it moist.
Cover and simmer until cabbage is tender.
Cabbage will greatly shrink as it cooks.
Season to taste with salt and pepper.
