Never Fail Pie Crust - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    3 c. flour
    1 tsp. salt (optional)
    1 c. shortening
    1 egg
    1 Tbsp. vinegar
    5 Tbsp. ice water
Preparation
    Mix first 3 ingredients until crumbly.
    Beat egg with fork in a cup.
    Add vinegar and water and mix.
    Pour over flour mixture and work together with hands.
    Ready to roll out for pie.
    Any trimmings can be rerolled.
